About us

We are a property company and own a large number of properties ourselves around London and manage many more for demanding clients.

Six years ago we were giving all our work out to builders and regularly experiencing the problems outlined in the Building Pitfalls section. In the letting business tenant often have higher standards than owners, especially as they are not having to pay for the work and have the power to leave or withhold rent if they are not completely happy with the end result.

At that point Keith Power joined our company. Keith is an exceptionally skilled builder and also a very good communicator. His key skill is in helping us find the most cost effective and elegant solution to every technical problem. Over the years Keith has built up a team of highly talented specialist builders, decorators , plasterers, plumbers and maintenance engineers around him who have been employed on repairs, renovations and conversions of our existing property portfolio.

Where possible Keith will personally discuss clients requirements with them before we quote and continues to keeps a personal eye on all jobs we undertake.

We have also identified through the process of trial and error a number of first class sub-contractors who can work with to do aspects of building work that we don't specialise in such as Gas Fitting, Structural Building Work and Landscaping.

We treat our private clients in exactly the same way as we treat our own client properties. Before we quote for a job we discuss the ways in which the job can be completed most cost effectively. In doing this we help our clients to fully think through all the things they may want done as its generally far less expensive to properly plan for the whole job from the beginning than to have to add on work or change the work sequence once it has started.

It is a matter of pride to us to do everything in our power to give you the best possible finish and to ensure you are completely happy before we leave the job. In return for that, once the work is completed to your total satisfaction, we ask you to recommend us to your friends and family and indeed most of our business comes from recommendations like this.

Please note that because we try to include from the beginning for all forseeable extras and allow time for the work to be finished to a high standard our quotes are rarely "the cheapest" however as our clients will testify - we are almost always the best value for money.
